Interested in applying to live at Murundaka? First thing to do is to find out as much as you can about Murundaka, Cohousing and the Common Equity Housing program. Check for any current vacancies here.
Check and make sure you meet the eligibility requirements of the CEHL program. CEHL is a co-operative, social- housing program so members must not exceed income and asset limits.
These are submitted to CEHL directly. All interested applicants must apply through CEHL.
Attend a CEHL information session. Find out more about the program at the presentation. At the end of the session if you're still interested, make sure to get an Application Form.
Complete the application form and return it to CEHL. You will need to preference 'Ecohousing Heidelberg' or 'Banyule South co-op' if you are interested in living at Murundaka.
Once you've applied you should end up on the CEHL waiting list. When we have a vacancy come up at Murundaka, we inform CEHL and they give us a list of potential applicants. From there we contact applicants and conduct interviews before we make an offer of housing.
