Join us for an architectural tour of Murundaka Cohousing Community. Speak with building professionals, tour the site, learn about designing for community. Find out what works and what doesn't from an established urban cohousing community. Facilitated by Heidi Lee (Murundaka Cohousing Community member and Architect).

Beeswax Food Cover making workshop
10-12 Saturday 21st July 2018
Join us for a practical workshop on how to make your own Beeswax food covers. Learn the theory behind this great alternative to plastic and get hands-on and learn how to make your own cover. All materials supplied, each participant will take home their own cover. Facilitated by Gail Burrell-Davis (Murundaka Cohousing Community member, Textile Art Community member and maker) and Jo Massey (Murundaka Cohousing Community member and maker).

PSST #16: Theory U Approach
7-9pm Wednesday 28th March 2018
Join us for our 16th Positive Sustainable Solutions Talk on the 'Theory U Approach' and creative approaches to addressing conflict. Talk and discussion led by Clare Coburn (RMIT University) in the Common House at Murundaka Cohousing Community.

Intro to Composting Workshop
10am-12pm Saturday 17th March 2018
Learn about compost theory and different compost systems: hot compost, bokaski, worm farms. Facilitated by Murundaka Cohousing Community members Kaz Phillips (community garden facilitator and community development worker) and Mikoto Araki (Zero Waste Permaculture Cook, Compost Queen, Kitchen Gardener).
Morning tea provided. All levels welcome. Made possible by a grant from Banyule City Council.

Murundaka 2018 Open Day
10am-1pm Saturday 24th February 2018
Come along to our Annual Open Day. Tour the site, meet residents, find out how we live communally and work together. The event will include introductory information, resident Q&A, and will finish with a communal lunch cooked by Murundaka residents.

The Great Cohousing Speed Date

Murundaka Cohousing Community and Cohousing Australia are proud to present this cohousing networking event. Come and speed date a cohousing resident, or cohousing start-up, or planner, architect, financier, or a selection of other cohousing-related 'dates'. This is your chance to network and find out more about all things cohousing!
