GETTING HERE

We are located at 42 Bamfield Road, Heidelberg Heights VIC 3081. Please remember that Murundaka is our home, so only scheduled visits or invited guests are welcome.

PARKING

We have limited resident parking onsite. For events, we encourage attendees to park around the corner on Outhwaite Street, in front of the Johnson Reserve park.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

We are well-connected to public transport. We have several train stations on the Hurstbridge / Eltham line close-by. Rosanna train station has a connecting 517 bus (to Northland) that stops close to murundaka. Similar you can catch the 551 bus (to La Trobe Uni) from Heidelberg train station, or the 548 bus from Ivanhoe station. Rosanna is the closest train station with a 20min (uphill) walk from the station to Murundaka, or a 15min (downhill) from Murundaka to Rosanna. There is also a 250 bus that runs from the city which stops close by with a 15min walk to Murundaka. Check out the PTV website for more info.

FLYING-IN?

If you're coming to Murundaka via Melbourne airport there are several transport options. First you can catch a taxi: expect to pay approx. $60 each way. The two main routes from the airport are via Bell Street or the M80 Metropolitan Ring Road. Second option is Murundaka resident (and former taxi driver) Dave offers a pick-up / drop-off airport service in his car. Dave charges $40 each way to cover petrol / time. Get in touch via email if you'd like to organise that option. And a third option is to catch public transport. That involves getting the Skybus from Melb Airport ($18 per adult) to the city (Southern Cross station), then purchasing a Myki and catching a suburban train to Murundaka. BIKE PARKING

We have limited bike parking available onsite. If you are leaving your bike onsite during an event please make sure that it is locked and not blocking walkways or exits.

ACCESSIBILITY

Most of the common spaces at Murundaka are wheelchair accessible. Some areas of the garden are not. If you have any specials needs or queries around this area please get in touch.

NO SMOKING

Murundaka is a no-smoking site. Please smoke out the front on the footpath - ashtrays can be provided.

EMERGENCIES

At the beginning of events guests will be briefed on emergency evacuation actions.
